American Access Casualty Goes Live on SpeedBuilder Systems in the State of Illinois

Columbia, S.C. – March 6, 2017 – SpeedBuilder Systems, Inc. today announced that American Access Casualty Company (AACC) has gone live with the BindExpress Product Configurator and Rating modules in the state of Illinois, completing the company’s transition to the new platform for all five states.  With the successful launch, BindExpress will now perform in excess of 1.5 million nonstandard auto transactions annually for the company’s internal, web, and comparative rating channels.

“Our Illinois new business program is more complex than the other programs we had released on the platform,” said Matt Reznicek, Director, Pricing and Product at AACC.  “SpeedBuilder was able to enhance their vehicle lookup to process multiple datasets and handle several new input parameters —something we had been unable to realize on our legacy system. That kind of robust, granular configuration is essential to maintaining and improving our competitive advantage in this price-sensitive market.”

“As important, the technology enables us to painlessly deploy additions and revisions to business rules as market needs change,” he continued.   “For example, in just minutes we can now restrict binding authority for certain coverages when severe weather is imminent.”

“Every carrier would love to quickly translate the thought process of their business people into better automated rates and rules,” said Rod Giess, President of SpeedBuilder Systems.  “And while the BindExpress Product Configurator facilitates such capability, only the creativity and commitment of AACC’s business people made their achievement a reality.  We consider their success to be ours, as well.”

American Access anticipates another significant growth year in 2017, with the state of Texas, where the company first launched BindExpress in 2014, expected to lead the expansion.
